Awakening

Woke one morning and just lay still
The machine would know his dreams
His mind was cleansed, his thoughts were pure
No time left to form schemes
Electric brains can make mistakes
This machine had done
Questioned in his inner thoughts
The rising of the Sun

Electric hand that woke him
Pushed his feet onto the floor
Quickly washed and dressed him
And he was carried to the door
As he crossed the photocell
He thought that if he might
Convert his thoughts to energy
Then day would become night

Spent a whole night dreaming
That the Sun would rise up late

So he was the Sun God
