Firefall

In the misty morning light
The wise man gaze at his crystal ball
With a tear in his eye, wondering why
He speaks with a raspy voice, a prophecy of blood and pain
The future of us, fading away
Like a wind at midnight, drifting slow into the dark
With the words of wisdom, and the promises of truth

Time is running out for all of us
By the end of time there will be a firefall
From the skies with a sudden blinding light
With a blast of death it will wipe out us all
By the end of time, from a blackened sky
A nuclear firefall

He's writing the book of doom, telling us to keep it safe from harm
Defend it with force, there's no other way
Hope lies in the hands of us
