Don't need no ticket i'm not waiting on a train,
no i'm just standing here if so i don't have to stand in the rain

I chopped wood all morning watching the treetops in the mist
and a strange woman came up next to me
packing cigarettes against her wrist
and i said yes - talk to the press
But hey hey i didn't mind it at all.
This woman i loved, you know she looked me right in the eye
and said i'm going to have all your children if you get me a coffee
and a piece of pie and i said fine.
I walked her up to see the city lights,
she had me whispering in her ear
turns out she didn't know that much english,
but i was listening loud and clear and i was in deep
