Once I dreamed about
Being a part of the "Diamond Life"
Chasing after
The flash of cameras
And the spotlight
But now I'm chasing forever

To no avail

Once it dawned on me
What a song can grant you
I learned to write
In every songbook
On every piano
Eternal life

On these scraps of paper
It gets lonely
With what's gone before me so daunting
It's haunt or be haunted
