I'm a fish, live in blissful ignorance
To the truth, that it's you, the one I miss

And I'll try, to float but never die
But it's not inside of me to cry

I like swimming in my tank
Got my overlords to thank
Get nutrients everyday
As the snails clean up, and the rest all sing

What is happening as the rest all sing

The hand reaches into the tank and takes one fish away
We don't know why it happens to us all so suddenly
Eventually you hope and pray that it will be your day
But you have no idea that you're in store for lots of pain

My best friend's frown turned upside down
Nature takes it's course, and I'm a gourmet meal

I never listen when they shout
Nature picks favorites and I'm not sticking here
