Lifting The Veil

Some people look as if they're born to fly
Never need to try; it's right there all the time.
Others look as if they just have to wait
Call it luck or fate; the makers were unkind.

Spirit of water, here is the night,
Spirit of water, here comes your night.

But in the light of day, I see it flying all my way

It's brighter than the eye can teach

It's lifting the veil.

I remember standing on some distant hill,
Fighting with my will; it's hard just to survive
