Whenever I come across angels
Exhaustion is written in their eyes

I feel their dismay behind their smile, so wary

They dazzling souls appeared to me knowing
There are way too many castaways

As all are craving their warm embrace

In many long nights childish dreams reappearing
Mementos reveal the fraud of our fate
By the fleer of their dance, lost in reveries
We remember old marvels, we don't think anymore

And if one day driven by insight
We hastily slash our sheltering ties
Then driven by promise we'll plunge into longing:
But our fairies will be long gone
