Above my family
I watch a really sad scene
mothers in tears by now
the kids are all down
they got the bad news
before the car blew
on the corner of 18th
my birthday in one week

blue lights and tear fights
my friend's at the crash site
the panic did not help
my words are heartfelt
I know I won't see
you guys live without me
but you'll be in my head
and we'll meet in the end

I did nothing wrong
I can't prove in this one song
I put up a fight
My eyes saw the light
I tried to turn back
but you don't understand
well I am gone for now
I won't be back in town
