Seasons Of a Tear

From the last days of rain i make my way to clear skies
Inside i pray to side with grace
Reside in a place that protects me from the cold
Direct my whole inner flow home away from home
And when these storms arrive my foundation is solid
From rockin' microphones to droppin' street knowledge
The world is suffering loss and the earth is slowly dying
Soak and wet from cloud's crying - while the wind is wining
I caught a tear drop when my fear stopped
And let go of the pain that i picked up on the block
From a champion's mind set to a loser's state of shock
From the birth of my girls to when d-boy got shot
It's all the same recognizing life, love, loss and pain
Storing up emotions for a later time and day
To release those tears - and defeat my fears
Of living righteously so my light is now shared
