Fright, Sheer Fright

I had a strange weakness running down my arms
Making my fingers limb
At first, I couldn't tell what it was
But then, after a moment, I knew it was fright

Sheer fright
There was always a shipwreck from the hurricane
And this time, mine would be one of them
And then, the air became still as death
