Chosen Ones

From simple dreams
of a common man.
A very long time ago.
They stood before me
and preached away.
These things I had to know.

Time will tell us of the Chose One
reigning down from above.
Bringing wisdom of a forgotten race.
We're the ones they've called upon.

We hide the pain
show no sorrow
never waiting fot tomorrow
we shall answer
when called upon
