Hathor: Drunken With Blood

Infinity before (the) gods have ascended the skies
They led the flock from the throne on the Earth
With lotus in their hands, they granted wealth to their creations
Asking for their praise and undisputed devotion

Demanding their bent knees, they made the cattle fertile, rivers spilled
Never brought them famine
The ones who walk the sand eventually will be cursed to deteriorate
The Great Sun started fading
Lapis lazuli instead of hair, silver for bones

Slowing down with his every move, all his body soon started to turn gold
All (the) peasants saw him from their nomes
How can decrepit rule the kingdoms?
We’d better take care of ourselves
We’ll start revolt
He summoned Divine Council (Council)
To decide the defectors fate
So that he was advised to send a vicious lion
To bring upon them the vengeance of Hathor

Slashed and beaten, rest their bodies in sand
Down to the shores flows the blood
