Captain's Diary

I know all the seas by heart
Life of thief has become too hard
I have sailed across the seven seas
And touched the veil of death all around me

We are reaching land again
Now I'm going to stay

I'm leaving and deceiving
My fathers and my crew
Horizon will not be all sky anymore
I'm leaving and receiving
much more than pirate's pay
I have found love and in this town I will stay
with her till the end of time

Seas, I'm coming to stay

Nothing could take away this gift

My son, I am on my way

Ocean's his lair, his home that's where he belongs

For I now see the mistakes I made in my life
And realize the cruelty I shared to everyone
Sets the moon for the last time for me
The only thing I have to do is
save you from this misery
So hear my advice, for I know all the ways
how a life should not be lived
