Blood Ox Ritual

It is said when one dies in the lands of cagn
The energy of their thoughts and actions live on
Attaching itself to anything, that comes into contact with it
He who binds himself to the dead
Is forever cursed by the infernal fires of gauna himself!
His children will be born weaker
Dying before they reach adulthood
Disease will spawn the lands of his ancestors
Untill his kin is nothing more then dead!

The blood of the ox is the only way
To cleanse these lands
Its blood has been consumed
By our ancestors for many moons
Kill with iklwa, bury its entrails
With the dead
It will lead his soul
To the lands of badimo!

As the night draws near
Start the fire
Destroy all his belongings
Take his first wife
Strip her naked
Pour the blood of the ox on her
She will scream in agony, as you burn her to ashes!
With nothing left for him here
His soul can never return to the lands of cagn!
