Day After Yesterday

There are times when i
Am acutely aware of
The passing of time
Suddenly im weary
For all of my 23

Is this growing up?
Coz you can have it back
All the worrying and sighing
Over what you lack

There's only one thing on my mind
And it's how you use my time
I find it slipping away- oh its slipping away

Then i wonder
If im spending my time
In the best way
Should i be with my family more
For who knows what's around

Too much to say, too much to know
Can't you take it all away
