Pale Blue

Visions in my sleepless night took me to the moonlit sky
I stood in awe before the greatest show
And took a step away from what I have ever known

Spark of life, creatures of the sun
Dead stars, new born nebula
Images of unseen plays
Distant lights and silhouettes

In the eyes of the child trapped in time
He is one without fear of the darkness unknown

As I gazed far away and dreamed of worlds I could reach
I heard my mother’s sweet song
Felt warmth of the sun
And my crib – fields of grass
My childhood tree-house and memories
Are my only home on this island of Pale Blue
