The great king
Had a wife who served not him

The persian king
Had been betrayed
And his heart, it fell apart
Into a thousand pieces
Forevermore

Suddenly
A woman came
To put an end to shahryār’s pain
Sheherazade was her name

In one thousand and one nights
His heart’s one thousand pieces could find
To each other by her tales

For another day and another night
And when the sun begins to rise

Come what may
Don’t go away
Tell me stories with which time flies
'Cause only

You give love to me
Now for eternity
