I Am So Glad It's Over

I am so glad it’s over and done

I cannot sleep beside you
I’ve been on my own for far too long
I am done with poetry
From now on I’ll be blunt

It’s a illusion to believe
That there’s a match for everyone

I’m holding hands with the Devil now
And I’m too sad to masturbate
Alas, this is going to be pathetic
But that just cannot be helped

Against all better judgment
I was still hoping for greater things to come
But now I’m just glad that it’s over
And that I am over this one
