Forgotten memories
That look for me no more

Of uneasy memories that come galloping
Like amazons dressed for war
Fragments of you

Where are you, that don't hear my call?

What have you done with the dream of ours?

We've read our poetry in the dark
We've bathed in bile
We've fed with kisses
And we've dressed in touches
Softly we've risen and levitated
And sung and cried and died
Resuscitating every morning
With each gaze, a touch
With each touch, a kiss
With each kiss
Ecstasy

Committed pain, with our mistakes
Committed sorrow, with our fears
Committed love, with our madness

Your presence, immortal
I close my eyes and have you in me
I breathe and your smell hallucinates me
Your voice cradles me
My heart breaks
Fragments of me

We sing our fears till dawn
And scream our dreams
For the heavens make them possible
And lose the enchantment
We silence our love
For magic fills our eyes
And only they speak for us
Ecstasy
