Where Frozen Dreams Lie

What ferocity lied in the act that devoured my life
For I was only a man alone with a dream

What malevolence was seen in the forces set at strife
Into nothingness I was cast or so it seemed
(and came to be...)

Scarred I am by wounds that will never bleed me to death...

Aeons have passed since the day
that poisoned my soul with dismay
for me the world did still
and for life I lost my will

Cast to trail where frozen dreams lie...

Incessantly they beset me
The memories,
only strengthened through the ravages of time

Yearning, Redemption,
yet nothing I ever received
Burning, Within me,
the thought of being confined, eternally!
