Soulhost

Sparse elements of one self, dispersed within the core of a 'who' - but not a 'who'. Not a concise whole, not a real personality, but a bunch of pieces, incomplete - left among multitudes of identical crowds. Lacking pieces that should be there, looking for them inside its own self, hoping for some different event within a routine consecutive equalities called moments. Every moment is the same - staining memories, distorting all of them, inserting them all down and down into a core that DOES NOT exist. A non-existing core called 'you'.

Feel the endless spiral, you breathe to shed
    And be the only one
You, descending spiral, expect to be the one
    Just to be the one

    As a fading picture,
You're lost within every form of loss

    This time is...
    This time is... (the one)
    This time is...
This time is... (to be the one...)

    [This time is never different,
And I'm blank pieces of a whole
    I'm not a whole...
And this time is always blurring what came before]

    I never shall be one

Feel the endless spiral, you breathe to shed
    And be the only one
You, descending spiral, expect to be the one
    Just to be the one

So corroded through every edge of my wound,
Until a time that's never come
One face among the crowd, I'm drowning inside
Just to unite what's never one

    You never shall be one

Feel the endless spiral, you writhe and shed
    To be the only one
You, descending spiral, expect to be the one
Just to be the only one (in you)
Want to be the only one (in you)
You're not the one... [as you're never fused in one]

As a shattered spiral denies in breeding one...
You, descending spiral, expect to be the one

Feel the endless spiral, you breathe and shed
    To be the only one
You, descending spiral, expect to be the one
    The only one...
    The only one...
    The only one...
    The only one
