Waiting

I never tried harder
Than this to get through to you
But it seems I don’t want to
So now I am through
I know I get the picture
My thoughts are deeper but inside I see the truth
Now you turn, you face me
But now I’m throwing it away

This bottomless pit won’t swallow me
I’ll stretch my arms out to grab that cloud and the rest

Now my brain is racing pacing faster place things in reason
Don’t just sit at home
When I’m all alone I think thoughts of darkness
I just close my eyes and dream
Life is simple blow off that steam
Well it’s not
So I’m ripping this page out of my book of life
