The Dancing Plague

Strasbourg and an epidemic
1518, mid July
From the dance floor to the ground
All began this way

Twirls from your hands, mesmerize my head

Jump a little, spin a little, like the bug buzz of a beetle
In my head obsessions scream their echoes

Gates are opening
