Little bear nods his sleepy head
And nuzzles against your cheek
He yawns and stretches and snuggles down
And soon he'll be asleep
He's cleared the bedroom and lined the toys
Along the bedroom wall
So there'll be room for everyone to dance
When the dreamtime faeries call

When everyone's asleep
And every head is on their pillows
When every eye is closed
With sheets and blanket's snowy billows
Dreamtime faeries come to dance
And sprinkle diamond dust

Of silver skates or a brand new bike
Three homeruns without a strike
Or flying through the starlit night
Dreamtime faeries with glowworm lights
Will dance around your feet

Little bear hears a tiny laugh
He opens up one eye
A dreamtime faery's standing there
Just three inches high
He watches as ten more fly in
To sprinkle dust and dance
With sugar canes and silver shoes
Their uncles and their aunts
