Two Cities

Too much in my head to sleep it out
I try to forget, but it's singled out
My heart beats fast, but there is no one
Only anxiety I can't overcome
I've been driving back and forth, back and forth
spreading myself too thin, distracting myself
I've been stacking more, more and more
all onto my shelf

Yes, I would love to take it easier
But right now, I cannot settle on quite how
And maybe one day, I'll say it was worth it
But today, I'm between two cities
on how to figure it out

When I cross one thing off, another's added on
