I built my fortress on a shaking ground
I thought it's a safe place and my shield fell down
I hoped for a moment in heaven while I lived in hell
My love for you locked my spirit in this prison cell

I found myself screaming alone in the darkness
Because I've closed my eyes when your shadows were revealed
I wanted to save you from yourself, and cast away your demons
You left me alone, on this battlefield
