Unchanging Story

A few attempts later I'm left with
the same stupid answer fed by anger
I kept hoping for a better change
And I gave it a shot and you ruined it again
Every time I tried to find another lamer excuse

The story keeps repeating itself
holding our friendship in disgrace

And this is just another sacrified ideal
And the trust was always there in any circumstances
It's been shred to pieces I'm sick of giving second chances

The moral to that story is never changing

Gaining acceptance has turned you into
That someone new so different and untrue
If only I could take it all a few years back when it felt so right
Staying up all night and making plans filled with confidence
