My Place

Drowning into memories of my stories
I went through as a child
A time there was nothing to scare me!
No future fears, no broken tears
But open ears for dumb jokes and fun
No plan what I later would be!

Riding skateboard all day
Destroying bikes was ok
Playing football as long until I can't go on!
Listing to music all night
Sleeping by daylight
But learning for school
That was pretty uncool!

So
I would like to turn back the time
To see people I loved
But
I know, there's no way to go back
To the place I belong to

Looking back a second time
When I felt fine
My hair grew real long
My friends and me looked all the same!
All we did was smokin' shit
And drinkin' a bit
Yeah we felt free
'Cause we took it all as a game!

Hanging round all day
With my girlfriend was ok
At the pool having fun
And enjoying the Sun!
Party all night
Love by candle light
And learning for school
Was still pretty uncool!

So
I would like to turn back the time
To see people I loved
But
I know, there's no way to go back
To the place I belong to

So standing here it seems to me
I've lost my life in damn good old times
Yeah in real damn good times!
No all I want is free my mind
And get myself into right now
That's why I'm doing all these rhymes!
But all I feel, today is not real
My future is weak
My past I still seek!
Somewhere in the past
That's where I will last
So far behind my place I will find!
