Reckless and free ones,
You rush about steppes - around vast lands
You carry tidings of grief with crying of threnody
...with wolfish stalk and by wings of black...
By merits you glorify.

Cruel and sage ones,
Birds and beasts with foreordained lot

Of immortal rod!

By howling and flap of wings

For perun of the skies!

You accompany perun's host into battles all the time
But you're eternal heralds of battle results

Glorify brave warriors
And greatness of fight!
