This Is My Favorite Sky

midnight, sun rise, this is meant to be
blue skies, i don't know why, nothing in my way
you're like a train to nowhere, cuz I can't see around the bend

but i didn't get your name, or your residence
it's like a dream that I just can't wake up from

This is my, my favorite sky,
Because it's the one that I'm under when I'm with you
There will come a day when sun will decease, and clouds will roll the skies
While night might reign, the truth remains, and light will begin to rise

Blue sky, red sky, any sky that you are under,
Rainy sky, cloudy sky, even in the rain and thunder,
the sky just smiles when you walk in the sun
day breaks when the day is done,
your voice is like the song bird in flight
who welcomes in the morning sky

night falls, i fall asleep, i know the dream is coming
the moon is high, the second sun, but nothings in my way
I fall into the restfulness of sleep, my mind is calm
but then you come into the dream like a rushing wind,
and i am calm no more
night fades as a beam of light comes through
