How Beautiful The Wounds

Nails in His hands, scarring on His side
Jesus, Savior, for me crucified
Bruised and beaten, wore a crown of thorns
I am healed by the suffering of the Lord

Thank You Lord, I'm grateful for the price that You paid
Thank You Lord, for You endured the cross for my sake
All I have to offer is a song of gratitude
How beautiful, how beautiful the wounds

If not, for grace, where (else) would I be
All my, sins are cast into the sea
Who am I to receive this great reward
I am healed by the suffering of the Lord

Christ is risen, Jesus is alive
With Him, I am, raised again to life
His scars remaining reminders of before
