I saw your picture just the other day
It brought back memories just like it was yesterday
Taking a stroll through the park or hanging out at the beach
Back then it seemed like everything was within our reach

Can you see the world changing right before our eyes
Those days seem far away, but let there be no disguise
Have you heard the waves crashing down like its the end
But it doesn't matter anyway, cause I've still got you, my friend

So now that times are changing and most people are parting ways
But I know that I've got what I need to pass the days
