At The Ministry

Well at first it was great at the Ministry
Had a job and a boss I adored
And I grew, and I grew, and I grew higher still
Till I don't think I could grow anymore
Yes at first it was great at the ministry
I was rich, I was famous, I was cool

How it all made me act like a fool

The dark lord returned and everything changed
We were living in a state of fear
And Fudge was fired, and Scrimgeor hired

Nine months ago, our minister was murdered
And Voldemort's death eaters took control
I had to get out, but escaping was hopeless
So I stayed, I had to stay

I watched them murder innocent muggles
I watched them torture muggle-born children
And every day I played along
I donned a crude disguise
Because I hoped that I might one day

So I do not care if I'm rich and important
