Sad Sack

For the first time, I can see it, my reflection, an awakening from a sadness, a lack of reason
Days spent carving conversations with myself, here's an idea:
Take it easy, you've lost everything
You can't come back from this, just hide your head in shame

From the last time, I felt something, medication did a proper job with the numbing,knowing reason
And the comfort of putting me to sleep, or at least convinced I'm sane
