i was pissed as fuck. i was beatin at the gate.
i didnt really care that all they did was stare
at me and push me out again
All i ever wanted was the promised land
need to get out before Babylon burns
when the riots overflow with decadence
my knuckles are white as i grasp the iron bars
i see the fancy houses, money, and cars

I cant get in
and im beatin on Babylon's gate
and they shut me out
and i was never accepted again

Distorted through the glass all i got was Babalonia
i stood on the border and screamed for admittance
Resection was my reward for all my persisstance
Frothin at the mouth and chompin at the bit
i refuse to give up and quit

Caught in the crossfire between sin and salvation
tired of dissappointment. tired of devestation
why are you so convinced that you deserve it all?
why am i the one that has to take the fall?
i want to bathe in the light of material perversion
instead im stuck workin for a living
