Finally Here

Breaking into early August
Counting down the days to start over with a clean slate
Not completely, but enough to have me practicing my confident smile
It's time to make them think I am

Only ten if you consider that it's four in the morning right now
Well, I'm not gonna lie
I'm gonna miss the people but I'm glad that summer's over
Cause this is my last opportunity to be

Well, this was certainly the slowest summer I have ever weathered
But it's over, so I can now look forward
To better things
To finding my purpose in this world
Whether it's to be a follower, a leader, or whatever
