Last Night

Last night was hell on wheels
the traffic was insane
I rode my bike to the stadium
there must have been a game
some nutcase charged at me
from the opposite lane
he slammed into a squad car

Last night a fight broke out
in front of the cafe
somebody knocked somebody
into the next day
and right into my front wheel
it's all bent out of shape
who's gonna pay for this
not those muscle-brained apes
just another night on the street

Tonight I think i'll go out
I wanna hit the town
don't care how crazy things get
won't let it drag me down
gonna find me a swingin' night spot
gonna bring the band
we'll play ska music all night

Tomorrow night I can't say
it ain't mine to see
anything could go wrong baby
just ask Mr. Murphy
let's skank it away together
this doesn't have to be
just another night on the street
