Lost in my sights
This fading light
Dims to a pinpoint in the center of the ceiling

Spirits drawn high
Hung from the sky
Watching my body lay still throughout the night

The deal is done
Have I become the
Fear that’s been trapped in me for all and ever long?

Thoughts will linger
Answers go untraced
Cosmic ecstasy explodes in just a moment's trace

Transfixed with rapture

Forgetting everything
Leaves turn brown with rust
Oh how I long for the seasons again

Drowned in a sea of clarity
Overjoyed with fate
My ego died
It’s ghost haunts you

Trapped in a dream
Nightmare it seems
Either way there’s no waking up from this

Killing the soul
After all I'm told
I reach out for nothing and nothing reaches back

Ash filled lungs depart
Return to stars
Return to dust and be born into the world

Light beckons
