D they shall be glad

D is the earth
G Em Am Blessed are the righteous for

G Em Am Blessed are the merciful for
D they shall have mercy

G Em Am Blessed are the peaceable for
D they shall be God’s sons
G Em Blessed are the wronged for the
Am G D G kingdom of God is theirs [Verse 3]
G Em Am Do not be anxious saying what
D shall I eat
G Em Am Look up a -- bove at the birds
D of the air
G Em Am They do not sow or reap or
D gather into barn
G Em Yet, your Father feeds them are you
Am not worth
G D G more than they [Verse 4]
G Em Am Do not be anxious saying what
D shall I wear
G Em Am Look at the lilies of the field
D as they grow
G Em Am Solomon in glory was never thus

G Em If God so loved the grass, how
