can it suffice?
always keeping the door half open
always sleeping with one eye open
halway open is halfway shut
lock that door or break it through!
we are kept so unchallenged
in emptry spaces and wasted time
in pre-set actions, pre-set activity
how could this ever suffice?

is this all the nerve we have got?

the opportunities we never saw
waited to be explored right before our eyes
dream sturned into regret
from a youth that you've
tried to forget

we walk on with sore feet
breath still with dry lungs
take me through you heart
when it has been broken
snap out of your sleep
you'd better run now
it's haunting your life
your unfulfilled dreams

is this all the nerve we have got?

I wish I knew a place a beautiful as you
and if I took you there maybe you would see
the difference between and aeroplane and a star
where there is a heart, there is room for passion
