2 AM, the world half-faded
Coffee warming up my hands
While every street felt isolated

You didn't talk just to fill the air
You translated songs instead
Line by line you built new worlds

Gudang clove smoke, sweet with spice
Slowly rising in the cold
Beer bottles sweating between us
Like stories never told

That gas station felt suspended
Outside of time and consequence
Just two strangers finding shelter
In a quiet coincidence

And somewhere deep inside

I felt that certain nights
Are never meant to last for good

Between yellow lights and borrowed songs
I let you cross too far
