Liar, Fool, Or Messiah

Are you Messiah?

The answer, loud and clear: I am!
At the right hand of God shall come the Son of Man!

Three years of ministry this man gained all authority
The power to forgive all sins
Who always had been and in justice come again

So as we face the information and the knowledge given
At some point we each must make a choice
The Word, as it is written
Demands a reckoning of sorts
For by those claims and actions
Divinity is brought to bear
Then one of three reactions
Follows from there

Have no illusions
The only conclusions
We're left to draw
When we have heard it all
The arguments rise and fall
It's either liar, fool, or Messiah

Not just the good moral teacher
Some say patronizingly
With who He claimed to be
The choices are one of three
Liar, fool, or Messiah!

How can a mortal man be good and claim divinity?
Could a great teacher say such things?
It's either true or He's a liar or insane!

So as we face the information and the knowledge given
At some point we each must make a choice
The Word, as it is written
