Halo slipped into the night
Lost it all I'm taking flight
Falling hard but feeling right

Dancing in the midnight glow
Broken pieces start to show
Laughing through the overflow
Feeling high when I'm so low

Fallen star but burning bright
Shining in the darkest night
Perfect mess a lovely sight
Caught between the wrong and right

Tears that sparkle on my face
Heartbeats racing through the chase
Running wild can't find my place
In the storm I find my grace

Wings are tattered but they soar
Through the fire wanting more
Blazing trails that never bore
Life's a game I've learned to score
