Voyager II

A ruby eye of beguiling light winking at orions might
She lures the gallilean mind a new beginning for mankind
And on her face for ages past we gazed through eyes of polished glass

A voyager once landed there and filled with pictures all the air
And awakened yearnings in our heart a home coming or a brand new start
We travelled months in weightless grace traversing voids of time and space
To build what caused our death on earth that here might start our kind's rebirth

Nine generations now surviving since our many coloured land has died
And we emerged from biospheres onto a virgin land in tears
For when we took our first few paces into eden's newest pages
We realised what we'd guessed before this was our real home after all
