I skulk through the skeleton trees
The birds and the Sun have both flown
I dare say a damnable scheme
Is hidden in mid-winter's morn'

I float in, a frozen white flood
Disheveled, I shuffle the floor
The fix full, it's freezing my blood
I rest behind the red cellar door
