Whispers To The Void

Grains of sand falling
Into the hourglass
Poison dripping
Into the heart
Atoms like words
Scattered in a thousand directions
Among endless spaces and collisions

Any single purpose?
Any single meaning?
The dialogue between two beings
The eternal mankind concerto
Does exist?
Has he ever existed, a listener?
Too little the time or too huge the gap
Then deaf is the other?

Silence deafens more than a perpetual
Background noise
Is for that our speaking, our praying,
The whispering and sighing?
Along with our universe that runs
Into the darkness the same way our voices are whispers to the void
