Strength Within

It's hard to take
When sometimes you feel the grief of being alone in the world
Hard to admit
That like everyone you feel loneliness and sorrow

As for me I can't take the fact
That no one is watching over us - no!
Isolation seems like an escape
I try to understand it all

Fire is burning high in my mind
With fear, desire and hate
Consuming my thoughts
Destroying my soul
Darkening my vision to ashes

I cannot stand up to this - not anymore!
