Loading Dock Blues

I got tossed in this world and started to sink
The first time they made me feel stupid
Then they got me so mixed up I started to think
That they knew me better than I did
Now I work for some guy that I don't even know
Hell, I'm not even sure what we do

I load boxes 'til they say I'm through

The world always seemed so amusing
But it took us so long to just barely get by

Until nobody knows who we are

I doubt if anybody around here is gonna miss us
We can run to where we want to be
