They own everything we need to live – and generously deign to ‘give’ –
A little back to us of what we’ve made;
While they themselves keep the rest and have themselves the very best
And every comfort in their lives that they can raid!

As long as Capital controls the way we run our lives from day to day,
Then nothing much will change for you and me;
