The Awakening

Fear coats the eyes of today
As we enter blindly into tomorrow
A constant dissent
A constant pain

In the search for nothing
We will only find the same

Such an absence of beauty
With no truth, nothing to hold true

Abandon their voices
Abandon their visions
For they've forsaken every word you've said

Create a stronghold within,and lead alone
To find it in oneself
To erase all insecurity
To stand against the shadows
And boldly laugh in the face of denial

This molds the strength into oneself
This holds true forever
To never look back, to never fear
Imbedded beyond a mirrors reflections
To see inside and to embrace what grows from within
